Watching it with the boy. Not only is it a fun movie, but the version on Amazon Prime looks amazing. Crystal clear and so much early 80s naval aviation goodness. Lots of Tomcat and Coursair content. Top Gun 2 needs to be a sequel to this with the carrier opting to intervene in WWII.

I was always so disappointed they went home without changing anything. That said, Weapons of Choice by John Birmingham is a fun read for people who like this film as they do get involved and it’s messy!
